Support me in the fight against cancer!

This year I'll be participating in the 16th Annual Maine Cancer Foundation Tri for a Cure with my mom, Elnel, and sister, Emily. Maine Cancer Foundation is committed to reducing cancer incidence and mortality rates in Maine, with 100% of funds raised by the Foundation used to benefit the people of Maine. MCF leads a statewide effort to foster and grow the most promising and effective cancer-fighting efforts available to the people of Maine through a combination of grant-based financial support and coalition building. MCF serves as a hub for Maine's cancer community, but they can't do it without you. Join us as we invest across the state to change the story of cancer in Maine.

My mom was diagnosed with a form of Leukemia in September 2022. Since then she has received various treatments at Dana Farber including chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant December 2023 all in an effort to fight for her life against cancer.  She has endured several hours of driving back and forth from Maine to Boston to receive this care while navigating the physical and emotional affects of the cancer, treatment and time in isolation away from family and friends.   This summer, alongside my mom and sister, I will run in honor of my mom- to celebrate her remission, her ability to return living her life, traveling with my dad, spending time with people she loves and feeling GOOD and to raise money for treatment so that others can do the same!  XOXO Hannah

Every dollar counts! With your support, we can make a difference! Cancer tries but we TRI harder!
