This year I'll be participating in the 17th Annual Maine Cancer Foundation Tri for a Cure. Maine Cancer Foundation is committed to reducing cancer incidence and mortality rates in Maine, with 100% of funds raised by the Foundation used to benefit the people of Maine.  

November of 2022 I was told my artificial heart valve was in need of replacement.  I spent over a year suffering with the difficult symptoms of a valve in stenosis. My second valve replacement was in November of 2023, a short 8 years from my first.  Since the Fall, I have been healing and since April I have been training for the Tri for a Cure.  Please donate to this amazing cause, and cheer me on to finish the race and prove to myself that I have a healthy and strong body!
