Support me in the fight against cancer!

This year I'll be participating in the 17th Annual Maine Cancer Foundation Tri for a Cure, and its my 12th TFAC!  This year I am dedicating my fundraising efforts and my race to the one and only, the amazing Julie Marchese!  Julie started the Tri for a Cure and has been our fabulous race director each year! This will be her last year as race director and we need to celebrate her and all she has done for Maine Cancer Foundation and the Tri for a Cure. Julie has been an inspiration to us all and she is the reason I decided to get into longer distance triathlon. I am setting my fundraising goal at $12,000 in honor of my 12th year but I want us all to raise as much as we can to hit over $2 million for Julie's last year as race director - let's send her off with a bang!  As always I will carry the names of too many people that have been touched by cancer.  I have raced each year for my dad, Wes Jordan, who I lost to pancreatic cancer when he was only 64.  I also race for my mom who is a two time survivor.  I want there to be a day when we don't have to have fundraisers anymore, that we have found treatments and even cures for all cancers.  Too many people I know have been touched by this disease, and I will continue to do everything I can to support the fight against cancer! I can't help fight cancer, and I can't support Maine Cancer Foundation, without your help.  Please make a donation today.  And as I always say, cancer tries and I will ALWAYS tri harder!!!

Every dollar counts! With your support, we can make a difference! Cancer tries but we TRI harder!
