2024 will be my 5th TFAC!

And I couldn't be more excited!! While I love the sport of Triathlon, I LOVE raising money and supporting those affected by cancer so much more! Since I was young, I have participated in various races and events to support a variety of organizations with a common goal - support those battling cancer, and provide resources to prevent ever hearing that diagnosis in the first place.  I don't have the financial means to make a big impact on my own - but I can rally like hell to bring others together so that together WE can make a difference. For 2024 I've set my biggest goal yet - $10,000 - and I need YOU to help me get there!!!!

Each of us has been affected by cancer in some way - you know someone, you love someone, or are you someone.  My family has been hit hard by the disease, and I only wish that my mom had access to the resources that MCF offers when she was diagnosed with Melanoma in 2012 at just 49 years old.  Knowing that money we raise will make atleast one persons journey a little easier is worth all the time and effort I put into the Tri each year.  Sending a huge thank you to everyone who has donated in the past, and who continues to send support.  Let's make it the best one yet!

This year I'll be participating in the 17th Annual Maine Cancer Foundation Tri for a Cure. Maine Cancer Foundation is committed to reducing cancer incidence and mortality rates in Maine, with 100% of funds raised by the Foundation used to benefit the people of Maine. MCF leads a statewide effort to foster and grow the most promising and effective cancer-fighting efforts available to the people of Maine through a combination of grant-based financial support and coalition building. MCF serves as a hub for Maine's cancer community, but they can't do it without you. Join us as we invest across the state to change the story of cancer in Maine.
