My cancer journey started at the age of 30. I thought I had it beat...but I was wrong. I have metastatic carcinoid cancer (part of the neuroendocrine cancer family), and there is no current cure. The goal of my cancer is to stabilize it with new medications and therapies that are discovered.
I support Maine Cancer Foundation's mission to support cancer research and patient programs as my way of putting up a fight to help end the war on cancer. I have seen friends die from cancer, and I have seen family affected by it. It is our turn to stand up to cancer.
Please consider a comfortable donation in support of the one you know who has cancer.
