Tri for a Cure 2017

Sad day, I Just lost another good friend. He flies with the Angels now. Running in Memory of Rob Hunt also! #cancer sucks!

June 20 Update:

I am one of the lucky ones, my toe nail finally fell off after that toe crushing granite incident and I am ready to take on the Tri for a Cure! I may not be able to crush the course this year, but I am willing to try. I'm am asking for help crushing the fund raising, every dollar counts! Please consider any amount if you can.

I am running this race for all those woman who fly with the angles, those women fighting the cancer battle and for everyone who has crushed it! It is one of my dreams that someone finds a cure.

Stiches are out, I have not lost the toe and it looks like I am not even going to loose the nail. I am looking forward to this race as it is so emotional and inspirational watching some of the other racers who have battled or are battles Cancer. My favorite part of the race each year is watching team member join their runner over the finishing line with their arms wrapped around each other in pure joy that they have finished and in full support of each other and all the other racers out there. I can't wait to be a part of it again this year!!

SO I had a little set back this week with a slab of granite crushing my toe, but that is nothing when we consider what our friends, mothers, sisters, and wifes go through crushing cancer! I will run this race with the memory of all those women who left this earth to early and lost their battle with cancer, I will also run in hopes of a cure for all those taking on that battle today and with an extra cheer for those who have already crushed it! You woman are some of the strongest people I know and will be glad to help raise $$ to find a cure!!

Please halp me with my goal!!
