Support me in the fight against cancer!
This year I'll be participating in the 15th Annual Maine Cancer Foundation Tri for a Cure. Maine Cancer Foundation is committed to reducing cancer incidence and mortality rates in Maine, with 100% of funds raised by the Foundation used to benefit the people of Maine. They lead a state-wide effort to advance the most promising and effective cancer-fighting efforts available through a combination of grant-based financial support and coalition building.
Thank you for joining me in supporting MCF and ensuring that their efforts to increase screening and prevention rates continue while also providing critical funding for patient care.
Little Foot, Big Mission
Not only will I have the gratification of fundraising for and participating in such a philanthropic event, I also have the fulfillment of taking on the most intense personal challenge I have ever set myself up for. I grew up taking bi-annual trips to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children with doctors telling me I shouldn't be able to walk having a size 8 and size 3 foot and a missing big toe. Finishing this triathlon will be the most gratifying and surreal moment for me and my Lil' Foot while also contributing to such an important organization. I couldn't be more happy and proud to be apart of this event.
