2019 Tri for a Cure

Support Me

I haven't personally had to battle cancer, but...

my dad has, my aunt and uncle have, some of my friends have, and even the child of a friend has. Many of these people are survivors, but some were not. I am participating in my second Tri for a Cure in their honor and with the mission of raising money to support the fight to bring an end to cancer.

The 12th Annual Tri for a Cure will bring together women from all over the country who are dedicated to the same mission. Some will be survivors, many will know survivors, and all will have raised funds (and their heart rates!) to support the efforts of the Maine Cancer Foundation.

If you can, please consider donating to this cause. Every dollar and every small step towards a solution matters.

More about Maine Cancer Foundation: Maine Cancer Foundation is committed to reducing cancer incidence and mortality rates in Maine, with 100% of funds raised by the Foundation used to benefit the people of Maine. They lead a state-wide effort to advance the most promising and effective cancer-fighting efforts available through a combination of grant-based financial support and coalition building. MCF's Challenge Cancer 2020 initiative is working to reduce cancer incidence and mortality in Maine 20% by 2020 through prevention, screening and early detection, and access to the highest quality care for every Mainer.
