Let's Raise A Lot of Money To Make This the Best Tri Ever!
This year, for the first time, I'll be "trying" to do all three parts of the for the Tri for a Cure on July 22 in South Portland. While I'll be nervously learning to swim, riding a bike on the road for the first time since college, and hoping to have some energy leftover for the familiar running part, I know we've all handled bigger challenges than this before. (Right?!)
I'm grateful to have friends like Jan Robson, Susan Ingalls, Darcy Latkin, and Mel Stevens who have all done it before, so, I'm counting on their inspiration! And I'm counting on your donations to help me not give up and more importantly help the Maine Cancer Foundation (MCF) reduce cancer incidence and mortality rates in Maine! Please give whatever you can in honor of or in memory of your loved ones or for your own courageous recovery!
MCF's Challenge Cancer 2020 initiative is working to reduce cancer incidence and mortality in Maine 20% by 2020 through prevention, screening and early detection, and access to the highest quality care for every Mainer.
Every dollar counts! Please consider a donation today. Thank you sooo much!!
Cancer tries but we TRI harder! And yes, we'll celebrate the best tri - bread, wine and cheese - with family and friends after the finish!
