Last year I trained for, and completed, my first sprint Triathlon - Tri for a Cure
The training was challenging, and while the event itself was tough, I was inspired the moment I arrived the morning of the race. The energy flowing from the volunteers, the staff, the survivors, fellow competitors, and spectators was incredible - it kept me moving from the moment I entered the frigid ocean water, jumped on my bike, and ran across the finish line - a tremendous experience - a life changing experience.
In 2017 I raised over $5,000 from nearly 100 donors!
I competed last year in honor of my Mom and her fight against Breast Cancer. So far, she has come out on top of this terrible disease but it seems every month there is news of someone we know who has been diagnosed or who has unfortunately, lost the battle. I was humbled by the amazing support I received from so many friends and family members - THANK YOU! With that support I earned a guaranteed spot in this year's 11th Tri for a Cure! I am asking for your support again this year.
On July 22nd I will race for the survivors, the fighters, and those who fought but couldn't escape the grip of this disease - every dollar of your support goes to fighting and preventing Cancer.
Thank you in advance for your support! It truly makes all the difference in the world.
