Because of the popularity of the Tri for a Cure we use a registration drawing to give everyone an equal chance of winning a spot.
The only exceptions to the drawing are:
1. Returning triathletes who raised $1,500 or more in the prior year
2. A limited number of spots reserved for our event sponsors.
Results of the entry drawing will be announced on the triforacure.org website on Thursday, February 1, 2018. Please note that winning spots are non-transferable.

Individual or Team Registration?
Participants can register as an individual or break the race into a two or three-person team. Only one winning drawing entry is required to start a team.
Tri for a Cure participants are asked to commit to a $500 fundraising goal to support the programs of Maine Cancer Foundation. Each participant is provided with a personal fundraising page to help collect donations.

Registration Drawing Fee: $10 (non refundable)
You must be 16 years of age on or before December 31, 2018 to participate in the event.
One entry per person.
Entries are non-transferable.
The registration drawing will take place on February 1, 2018. Winning entries will be selected by Random.org. Winners will be contacted by email.
Non-winning entries will be placed on a priority waiting list based on the order in which they were selected. Individuals will be contacted as additional space becomes available.
Each winning entry is eligible to register for the 2018 Tri for a Cure triathlon, scheduled for July 22, 2018. Each participant will be required to raise a minimum of $500.
Winners must claim their registration entry by February 7, 2018 or the space will be released to the first individual on the waiting list.
The Tri for a Cure is a women's only event that adheres to all USAT rules and requirements.
